Its proximity to the Donkey Sanctuary with its excellent cafe is a bonus, and Sidmouth and the rest of the East Devon coast is close by too.
The beds and sofa were comfortable (some places really cheap out on the twin beds but that wasn’t the case here, they were very comfortable) and it was reasonably well equipped. It could do with some shelving in the bathroom, and the freezer didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while, but ...

It could do with some shelving in the bathroom, and the freezer didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while, but everywhere else was perfectly clean, presentable and in good order. Certainly no unpleasant surprises.
You do have a little view of the sea, and a terrace at the front. I’d recommend bringing your own comfy garden chairs if you planned on using it.
