“This is a lovely stylish apartment.”

Lovely kitchen with everything you need plus! Milk and biscuits there when I arrived. Bedroom very comfortable. Great bed. Bathroom again lovely with lots of bits to use if you wanted too. Lounge area lovely. Comfortable. Great balcony. Area fairly quite. But you are not far from everything. I think this is a great place. Really enjoyed my week! Thanks.

“A clean and smart apartment.”

It has comfortable seating and a well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of coat/door hooks in the hallway, bathroom and bedroom. Also the bed is very comfortable, a main plus for us. It is well positioned for walking down to the sea esplanade (10 mins)and walking along to the Marina passing good restaurants. Also down in that direction is The Exmouth Pavillion that has events (check their website) and The Ocean Centre that has a cafe, restaurant and ten pin bowling alleys. Also nearby a convenience store. Walking in the opposite direction the town centre is only a 15 minute stroll away.

“Rolles Rainbow is a lovey new apartment very conveniently situated for an easy walk into the center of Exmouth .”

It is well equipped although we did think that extra knives and small plates would make things much easier as there is a full sized dishwasher which we hardly used but still ran out of those items !! Although it apparently got colder when we stayed there the apartment has triple glazing which keeps the place very warm as the sun comes into both the lounge and bedroom so seems always warm !!

“I was absolutely delighted with the accommodation.”

All facilities were good quality and modern.The broadband was very good.The communication with the owner was exceptional with photos of entry points were very helpful. The only shortfall was with the entry remote but the owner communicate the problem before I was affected,The last point was with elevator was out of order on the morning of my departure along with my luggage. In conclusion this accommodation is the best I have booked in the UK to date and in would definitely consider to repeat

“We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Rolles Rainbow.”

It is a very comfortable apartment, clean and fully equipped together with allocated parking. The beach is just a short walk away and not far to walk into Exmouth town centre. We explored the area as far as Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, A La Ronde, National Trust (just a couple of miles away), Powderham Castle (tour was excellent) and just north of Exeter Killerton National Trust. A beautiful area to stay and would love to return.

“Rolles Rainbow is a lovely apartment.”

The property has been furnished/fitted out to a very high standard. The kitchen equipment and utensils are all good quality as are the bed linens and towels etc. The owner is contactable at all times and very helpful. It is a 10 minute walk down to the beach and 15 minutes walk into the town and if you don’t want to walk back buses are frequent. We would not hesitate to book again and would recommend to friends / family.

“We are very particular when selecting accommodation for our holidays.”

in this instance we were attracted by the newness of the apartment. the decor and availability of onsite parking. We have to say that seeing the inside of the apartment you feel the photographs do not do it justice - it is indeed fabulous! What did we like: - The bathroom is a good size with a large, easy access shower. - The bedroom is medium size with plenty of storage for clothes and has a TV. - The kitchen area is excellent and opens out into a cosy space with a sofa, chair and TV. There is also a table and chairs. Their are modern Bosch appliances including oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. You then have a sliding door leading on to a generous balcony with chairs and a small table. There are limited sea views which add to the appeal of the apartment. - Everthing you need by way of crockery and utensils are to hand together with cleaning materials (dishwasher tablets etc) both in the kitchen and toilet. - You have an allocated parking space and a lift to the first floor. - You are centrally located with a 5 minute walk down to the beach and sea front and the town centre is a 10 minute walk away. There are numerous bus services which meant that we did not need to use our car during our stay. - The owner, Christine, left very clear instructions relating to the apartment and could be contacted in case of need. We would strongly recommend this apartment to prospective visitors to the area - we had a wonderful holiday there! Just one minor point is that there is building work ongoing at the rear of the property which is well advanced. It was directly opposite our parking space and did not cause any access concerns or noise as once you are in your apartment you are remote from the ongoing building work.

“I had such a lovely stay at Rolles Rainbow.”

There was a great deal of thought that had gone into the decor and finishing touches. The bed was wonderfully comfortable (sometimes overlooked at some properties), the kitchen equipped with all you needed, the sofa and chair was comfortable too. Parking is very close to the main entrance foyer. The flat would be suitable for older ones who aren’t too mobile: there was good access to the generously sized shower, there was plenty of space (no low ceilings etc) and there was the option to use a lift to reach the flat on the first floor. For anyone wishing to use the extensive cycle paths from Exmouth to Budleigh or Exmouth to Exeter and Dawlish, Rolles Rainbow offers the use of a purpose built cycle store, which was fantastic for me. I ought to point out that there is still building work taking place on the site as of May 2025, but as the works are taking place around the back, and the flat is at the front of the block, I was never conscious of noise as there are several walls and the flats overlooking the back between you and any building works. So this genuinely wasn’t an issue. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk down Maer Road to the sea front near the coastguard lifeboat station. Exmouth has many amenities: cafes, restaurants and kiosks are plentiful to suit most budgets, and of course Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth and Exeter are very well equipped and close by. I’d be very happy to stay at Rolles Rainbow again in future.

The apartment is tastefully decorated , well equipped, great shower , comfortable bed and a wonderful south facing balcony. We would have no hesitation in recommending and would love to return in the future.

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required by the visitor for a relaxing break. A thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned bird sanctuary, close to miles of sandy beaches, superb coastal walking, with everything for the fisherman and sailor, close to Exeter with its array of shops and walks and its beautiful cathedral with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town’s attraction.
