    “We are very particular when selecting accommodation for our holidays.”

    in this instance we were attracted by the newness of the apartment. the decor and availability of onsite parking. We have to say that seeing the inside of the apartment you feel the photographs do not do it justice - it is indeed fabulous! What did we like: - The bathroom is a good size with a large, easy access shower. - The bedroom is medium size with plenty of storage for clothes and has a TV. - The kitchen area is excellent and opens out into a cosy space with a sofa, chair and TV. There ...

    in this instance we were attracted by the newness of the apartment. the decor and availability of onsite parking. We have to say that seeing the inside of the apartment you feel the photographs do not do it justice - it is indeed fabulous! What did we like: - The bathroom is a good size with a large, easy access shower. - The bedroom is medium size with plenty of storage for clothes and has a TV. - The kitchen area is excellent and opens out into a cosy space with a sofa, chair and TV. There is also a table and chairs. Their are modern Bosch appliances including oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. You then have a sliding door leading on to a generous balcony with chairs and a small table. There are limited sea views which add to the appeal of the apartment. - Everthing you need by way of crockery and utensils are to hand together with cleaning materials (dishwasher tablets etc) both in the kitchen and toilet. - You have an allocated parking space and a lift to the first floor. - You are centrally located with a 5 minute walk down to the beach and sea front and the town centre is a 10 minute walk away. There are numerous bus services which meant that we did not need to use our car during our stay. - The owner, Christine, left very clear instructions relating to the apartment and could be contacted in case of need. We would strongly recommend this apartment to prospective visitors to the area - we had a wonderful holiday there! Just one minor point is that there is building work ongoing at the rear of the property which is well advanced. It was directly opposite our parking space and did not cause any access concerns or noise as once you are in your apartment you are remote from the ongoing building work.

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required by the visitor for a relaxing break. A thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned bird sanctuary, close to miles of sandy beaches, superb coastal walking, with everything for the fisherman and sailor, close to Exeter with its array of shops and walks and its beautiful cathedral with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town’s attraction. In addition to messing about on boats, lazing on the beach or taking the ferry up the estuary or to Dawlish Warren nature reserve, there’s always Crealy Park theme park, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, the Sandy Bay World of Country Life and the all absorbing Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastwards into Dorset. In terms of visitor attractions and coastal lifestyle you won’t find much better than Exmouth.
