    “My girlfriend and I booked the little silver fox for a short break away and it was amazing.”

    Nestled in the middle of an apple orcharch with views over a sweeping field and hillside with only the noise of the wind going through the trees. The golf buggy self transfers to the lodge was a great touch, as it meant there were no noisy cars nearby to disturb anyone. We spent hours in the evening watching the sun go down from the hot tub. The lodges are situated in such a way that it's nigh on impossible to disturb someone else / be disturbed. We spent so much time just relaxing and ...

The lodges are situated in such a way that it's nigh on impossible to disturb someone else / be disturbed. We spent so much time just relaxing and enjoying the peace, quiet and the view. you'll hardly want to do anything else! The facilites within the hut were ample, with a nice welcome basket, fresh robes and a log fire which heats the place up in no time at all. There's a nice place to eat nearby called "smoke on the water" which is a rough and ready American style BBQ. Ideal for a quick hour out to get some nice food. If you're thinking of booking, do it!

Little Silver Fox Silvery Grey in colour, this beautiful shepherds’ hut sits midway within the orchard, perfectly positioned to enjoy the magnificent views of the valley below.

Step inside to the studio style accommodation with luxury king size bed, seating area with foldaway table and kitchen fitted with Belling electric cooker and hob, Smeg fridge and wood burning stove.

A shower room with walk in shower is situated at the far end and completes the accommodation.

Outside there is private lawn garden and patio area with private hot tub and Chiminea that also doubles as a BBQ, loveseat and table and chairs.

The small rural North Devon village of High Bickington is set in the area known as 'Tarka country'. On a ridge above the Taw Valley boasting views towards Exmoor and Dartmoor, the village offers a Post Office, two pubs, a holistic beauty salon and Libbaton golf course. The small village of Umberleigh is only five miles away and has a railway station where trains run on the Tarka Line to Barnstaple or Exeter. Within driving distance is the historic town of Great Torrington, where you will find independent shops and Dartington glassworks where visitors can watch in wonder at the glassblowers, plus on the outskirts of town is Rosemoor, a garden of national importance with forty acres to delight and inspire a wide range of visitors.
