Dawlish 2.4 miles. These splendid holiday homes are situated in a rural location a few miles outside the coastal town of Dawlish. Presented to a lovely standard, these quaint cottages combine original character with contemporary décor and furnishings, providing a warm welcome for families and couples alike. The property has been cleverly split in two, with each half comprising of a self-contained, well-equipped accommodation. Both cottages hosting well-appointed kitchens with integrated appliances so you can easily cook up a storm, along with living areas where you can unwind after a long day. The first floor hosts the bedrooms, including a triple bunk with double and single bed and a double room, serviced by a bathroom with refreshing bathroom with choice of bath and shower over. If you book these cottages together, you can experience the delights of both properties, while enjoying a sparkling glass of wine within the patio area. The local area is full of opportunity; just three miles away is the glorious sands of Dawlish Warren Beach, perfect for an afternoon of sunbathing and paddling in the shores, while there is plenty of fantastic walking routes along the South West Coast Path, a must for any outdoor enthusiast. At the end of Port road, turn right and you will find Dawlish Country Park which offers ample parking for cars and is excellent for dog walking, with a trek that leads to Dawlish. The large town of Dawlish has a train station to venture further afield, and a brook down to the seafront, which is home to the legendary black swans. Within close reach is the scenic Dartmoor National Park, the port town of Exmouth and the bustling resort of Torquay; there are bus stops at either side of the road to take you to Exmoouth and Torquay. A charming seaside town set on the southern coast. The town of Dawlish offers all of the facilities for day-to-day living including a pleasant variety of shops, restaurants and cafés and a small cinema. Dawlish is famous for its Black Swans that live with other wildfowl on the Dawlish Water that runs through the central town park down to the sea, at night in the summer it is beautifully lit by strings of coloured lights. Dawlish comes with a wonderful, sandy beach with a crazy golf course also nearby, it is the perfect place for a family holiday. Up the coast is Dawlish Warren that can be reached by car or train or, for those energetic types, a walk along the sea wall. Further afield, Dawlish mainline station offers access to Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton or even Plymouth, trains are plentiful.
