“A lovely well maintained and clean house in a superb location just a short walk to the harbour.”

Please be aware it is a steep downhill walk to the harbour so be prepared for the walk back up! We didn't realise dogs were only allowed on the ground floor so you can't sit outside on the top terrace enjoying a drink overlooking the harbour without leaving your dog downstairs. This arrangement might not be suitable for all dog owners. We did have a lovely time regardless and would come back again!

“What a lovely house - spotlessly clean and the owners were so helpful with any queries over the use of kitchen equipment.”

The house is really well placed to explore Brixham. The parking is a challenge and you have to be prepared to park away from the house but this wasn't an issue for us but may be for others with limited mobility. We will definitely be back

This is the cleanest holiday let I’ve ever stayed in. Every room was finished to a high standard, tastefully decorated and accessorised. Every one commented how nice the showers were to use too!

“A great holiday home with a wonderful balcony view.”

We were a family of six and we loved this holiday home. Very clean, a lovely holiday feel about the whole house. Great to have three shower cubicles and four toilets. The view from the balcony was very special and we look forward to staying again sometime. The owners were very helpful if needed.

The house is so beautiful and has been renovated and finished to such a high standard. The interior design is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed. We loved exploring Brixham and there was more than enough for us to do for a week with grandparents and young children with us.

“One of our favourite getaways yet!”

We absolutely loved our stay here. The sea view from the cottage was just amazing — we spent so much time simply sitting with a cuppa and watching the boats drift by. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you’re on holiday. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. It’s in a great spot too — peaceful, but only a short walk to the harbour, the beach, and a few lovely little places to eat. Breakwater Bistro quickly became our go-to for breakfast. You can tell the owners really care about the place. It just had that warm, welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back — already missing that view!

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region.
