    “This is the second time we have stayed in one of these lodges so we knew what to expect.”

    We were not disappointed! The three Lodges are set off the driveway to the owner's property and guests have the use of one side of their beautiful garden. The Lodges overlook fields with cattle grazing in them. The garden has lots of very tall pine trees, providing shade if you need it. It is just the place to unwind. It was so peaceful and calm. Whilst there, we watched Tree Creepers running up and down the tree just outside our lodge. There were squirrels and pheasants and lots of other ...

The Lodges overlook fields with cattle grazing in them. The garden has lots of very tall pine trees, providing shade if you need it. It is just the place to unwind. It was so peaceful and calm. Whilst there, we watched Tree Creepers running up and down the tree just outside our lodge. There were squirrels and pheasants and lots of other birds in the garden too. The Lodge was comfortable and well equipped and had blinds and curtains for added privacy. It was lovely to meet another couple staying in the neighbouring Lodge, who were also enjoying the restful tranquility of the garden. Ideally situated to visit all local beaches and market towns, with pubs, restaurants, friendly churches and artisan shops. What more could you ask for! Thank you to our hosts and to Sykes!
