“Beautiful lodge (73) set back from the main surrounding lodges but still with a sea view.”

Decking with a locked gate (great for young children) and x2 accessible parking spots right outside. The lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Lounge and kitchen/dining area all spaced out well with two settees and armchair that you can actually relax in plus double door access to decking area. The main lounge had lots of windows for light plus a wall thermostat that controlled the heating which was used due to being cold in parts during our stay. Heating was very effective. 3 good ...

3 good sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite and shower. Main bathroom has a lovely deep bath with shower over. All the beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. We travelled with our 3 young children who enjoyed the internet provision and wall mounted tv to make it more like home. My only observation was that it would have been preferable to have a cordless vacuum just to keep on top of the kids and their crumbs! and perhaps a few homely pictures or ornaments? However we thoroughly enjoyed this lodge, high quality accommodation and location (adjacent to the SW coastal path) thus comes highly recommended. Access was effortless with the key safe and made a difference avoiding checking in and transitioning from journey to accommodation. Thank you. Williams Family

Thank you for your wonderful review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay in Lodge 73, especially the peaceful setting, sea views, and spacious, comfortable layout. It’s great to hear your family felt at home and that the heating kept you cosy. We appreciate your suggestions regarding a cordless vacuum and added homely touches, and will certainly take these on board. We’re also pleased that you found access smooth and enjoyed the coastal path nearby. Thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. The Riviera Bay Team Property Owner

The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region.
