The property

Signature Lodge Pet 6 is a charming, eco-friendly sanctuary nestled on Gwel an Mor Holiday Park near Portreath, Cornwall.

Designed with sustainability in mind, this family-friendly lodge welcomes two well-behaved pets and provides designated parking alongside EV charging, ideal for those arriving with four-legged companions or electric vehicles.

Step inside this single-storey retreat and you’ll find three inviting bedrooms: a double with its own television, and two twin rooms, each offering a TV for those quiet moments.

The main bathroom is thoughtfully equipped with a bath and overhead shower, basin, WC, and a washer/dryer, handy for sorting out sandy towels or muddy boots after a day on the Cornish coast.

There’s also a separate shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

The heart of the lodge is the open-plan living area, where the gentle glow of the woodburning stove draws everyone together after a day’s adventures.

Sink into the plush sofa, perhaps with a favourite film on the Smart TV or music playing through the Sonos speaker system.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing hearty meals, with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cafetière, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster.

About the location

PORTREATH

Truro 14 miles; St Ives 15 miles.

With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
