Scandinavian Hot Tub Lodge is a characterful two-storey retreat on Landal Gwel an Mor Holiday Park near Portreath, Cornwall.

With designated parking and EV charging, and sweeping sea views from the balcony, this wooden lodge offers a practical and scenic base for families or friends looking to explore the coast.

Step inside and you’ll find a spacious open-plan living area on the upper floor, where the flicker of the woodburning stove adds warmth to the evenings.

The sitting room invites you to settle in front of the TV, with a DVD player ready for relaxed nights in.

The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, along with a cafetière, kettle, and toaster, ideal for preparing everything from morning brews to evening meals.

The dining area provides a welcoming space to gather and share food and conversation.

Downstairs, three bedrooms, a double and two twins, offer ample space for guests, one of which includes a TV.

The main bathroom features a bath with shower over, basin, and WC, while a separate shower room includes a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

About the location

PORTREATH

Truro 14 miles; St Ives 15 miles.

With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
